about me

Susan Bourque

Ever since I was little, whether it was skillfully climbing tall trees or devouring countless chapter books, my curiosity has always led me on wild adventures.  Most recently, I left my home in Boston and set off on a cross-country road trip to Santa Fe, NM.  Between the natural wonders of the western landscape and the southwest sky stretching as far as the eye can see, I’ve come to realize how special this part of the country is. I love spending time outdoors, especially venturing into all of the incredible national parks out here.

I strongly believe that the more people you get to know the better you know yourself.  This belief led to a double major in Media Studies, Digital Art & Journalism and Spanish at St. Michael’s College in Vermont. I focused my studies on visual storytelling through photography and film, which resulted in crafting a 45-minute documentary titled Street Art to Digital Avenues. This passion for storytelling has intertwined with a passion for travel. My camera and notebook were essential companions on my recent travels through Northern India.
